This Privacy Policy describes how stam.pics handles information in the mobile app and on this website. We built stam.pics with privacy in mind: your photos, folders, and app settings stay on your device. We do not create accounts, run ads, use analytics SDKs, or upload your app content to our servers.

App Data We Do Not Collect

stam.pics is designed to work locally on your device. In the app, we do not:

Collect or store your photos on any server
Create user accounts or require registration
Track your behavior with analytics tools
Use advertising or tracking cookies
Transmit your app content over the internet
Sell or share your app data with third parties

Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following information locally using your device's app storage:

Stamp photos: Images you capture are saved to the app's private documents folder. These are never uploaded by stam.pics.
Stamp metadata: Information about your stamps, such as creation date, folder names, and format preferences, is stored locally.
App settings: Your customization preferences (date overlay, text style, stamp format) are saved locally.

Depending on your device and backup settings, your operating system may include local app data in a device backup. You can manage device backup settings in iOS or Android settings.

Camera Access

stam.pics requests access to your device's camera solely for the app's core photo capture feature:

Camera: Used only to capture photos within the app. We do not upload camera images to a server.
Photo library: The current version of stam.pics does not request photo library access.

You can revoke camera permission at any time through your device settings. The camera capture feature requires camera access, but you can still browse existing stamps stored on your device.

Website Data

This website is a static marketing and support site. We do not use website analytics, advertising cookies, account registration, or contact forms on this site.

When you visit the website, the hosting provider may process basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver the site and maintain security. The website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser may request font files from Google. We do not use this information to identify you or track you across websites.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your information. Because stam.pics does not upload your app content or operate user accounts, we generally have no app data to share. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

Delete individual stamps from your collection at any time
Delete folders and their contents
Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device, subject to your operating system and backup settings

When you delete a stamp, the image file is removed from the app's local storage. Because we do not operate accounts or cloud storage for stam.pics, there is no separate server-side account or cloud copy to delete.

Children's Privacy

stam.pics is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app does not require accounts or collect identifiable information.

Your Choices

Manage or revoke camera permission in your device settings
Delete stamps and folders directly in the app
Uninstall the app to remove its local app data from your device
Use your browser settings to manage website cookies or cached data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
