Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using stam.pics. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

1. About stam.pics

stam.pics is a mobile application that turns photos you capture into collectible digital stamps. The app is designed to operate locally on your device. Photos, folders, and settings are stored locally and are not uploaded by stam.pics to any server.

2. Use of the App

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use stam.pics for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the app
  • Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
  • Use automated means to access or scrape the app

3. Your Content

Ownership

You retain all rights to the photos you capture in stam.pics. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Local Storage

All photos and data created in stam.pics are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for preserving anything you want to keep. Uninstalling the app may delete associated local app data, subject to your operating system and backup settings.

No Cloud Recovery

stam.pics does not provide account sync, cloud backup, or server-side recovery. If your device is lost, reset, damaged, or the app is uninstalled, we may not be able to recover your stamps.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to use stam.pics to create, store, or share content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights
  • Invasive of privacy or publicity rights
  • Containing malware, viruses, or harmful code

4. App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and stam.pics. They are in addition to any terms imposed by the platform from which you downloaded the app, including the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, which you also agree to comply with. If you downloaded stam.pics from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licensed application terms may also apply where required.

5. Disclaimers

stam.pics is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties that any results obtained from using the app will be accurate or reliable

You use the app at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss of data due to device failure, app uninstallation, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, stam.pics and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the app.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the app (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $1 USD, whichever is greater.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where stam.pics is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where your local consumer protection laws require otherwise.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license to use the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your use of the app at any time by uninstalling it.
